so i wrote to the town and the guy in charge and he gave HAZEL THE low down .
it's happing ! we will soon have a cement park.
THIS IS WHAT WAS SENT TO ME :
Park is underway with some site work being done i.e. drainage and retaining walls. California should be on site the beginning of May to start the concrete. we have final got the town to relax the rules at the Greenlawn park and the same will carry over to the new park when completed. Parks will be open from dawn to dusk unsupervised and only requirement will be a helmet with skate at your our risk policy. Town would not give in on the total no helmet/pads requirements but I would think once the new park opens you would not want to be skating the bowl/flow without at least a helmet. Bowl and flow section will both have a maximum depth of 9 feet.
